Whats the difference between pitching a softball and a baseball?

softball pitchers pitch underhanded on a flat surface. baseball pitchers pitched overhand on a hill. side arm, or sideways, in baseball is a style that will hurt your arm if you throw too much.
in softball u have to throw it under_hand and in baseball u have to throw it over_hand.
The main difference is, Baseball players pitch over hand and softball players usually make a complete rotation before they pitch and they also throw under arm.
Another difference between the two, a softball is a bigger ball and it’s a bit slower even though some exceptionally good pitchers could throw it very fast. A Baseball, on the other hand, is harder and smaller. It could travel even faster than a Softball.

Baseball is pitched overhand. The closest to underhand they can get is submarine style. Softball is a complete rotation and released underhand. They usually will hit their glove on their leg to transfer energy. Their feet also move differently. You can’t step outside of the pitching circle. Yes, baseballs travel faster, but the mound in softball is over 20 feet closer so you reaction time is about the same. Our pitcher on my team could throw around 65 MPH. However, she is one of the best in the nation and went on to college. 65 MPH in softball is about 90-100 MPH in baseball.

A softball player pitches the ball almost underhand but they have the windmill added into it. It is also is faster than a baseball. Then baseball is overhand and is basically like throwing the ball.
Softball pitches underhand or windmill. (Windmill is a term that isn’t really used anymore) Baseball throws overhand. “sideways” is called “sidearm” Not everyone pitches that way. Make sense?
