Wildcats baseball, Bearcats softball teams selected to NCS playoff
The NCS playoff brackets were announced on Sunday. There was good news for two local teams. The Ukiah High Varsity Baseball Team and the Potter Valley Softball team were each selected to take part in their respective sections’ playoffs: the Wildcats in the Division II bracket and the Bearcats in the Division VI bracket.

Area girls named to 12-2A softball team
Prairiland and Rivercrest were well represented on the All-District 12-2A Softball Team, released recently by the league coaches. Prairiland senior Kelti Mowery was named Defensive Player of the Year, while Rivercrest freshman Hailey Brown was named Newcomer of the Year.

Im from Georgia, USA and as you may know Warner Robins recently won the Little League World Series….
I know our governor Sonny Purdue played little league in warner robbins, but didn’t make it in baseball.
I was wondering about these kids futures and if anyone on a championship little league, including other countries, ever made it to the big leagues and who was most successful as professional baseball player?
